Our Luxury Glamping Lodges

We have two luxurious glamping lodges available, Jenny and The Stag. Our single storey wooden pods are beautifully situated on our working Lakeland farm in Hartsop, below Angle Tarn and close to Brotherswater. Both pods have a studio-style layout with colourful décor for a warm atmosphere, where you can curl up on king sized double bed or the additional sofa bed with a TV for entertainment. They are ideal for couples, families and groups of four and can be booked together for a party of eight. Each has outside decking with a hot tub and a fire pit to watch the stars at night  and keep you toasty. The surrounding countryside is perfect for walkers of all abilities with its lakeshore paths, rolling hills and mountain peaks. Our two glamping pods are nestled below the picturesque Angle Tarn,  in the heart of our 5th Generation working family farm in Hartsop, in the heart of the Lakes.

Inside

Our lodges offer a superb retreat for couples or a small family of four, with their timber clad interiors providing a rustic hideaway to unwind in at the end of an action-packed day. When you enter the deceptively spacious pods, you will be welcomed by a stylish, corner sofa resting in front of the wall-mounted TV, so you can curl up after a spot of hiking and watch your favourite show. Continue to the sleek kitchenette, a space housing shaker-style cabinets, along with all the essential appliances needed to fix up delicious meals. These meals can be enjoyed as a romantic meal for two at the neighbouring table or out amongst the beautiful countryside on the decking. As the day draws to a close, head to bed in the king-sized double bed, whilst extra guests can rest in the sitting area's sofa bed. The open-plan area is adjoined by a contemporary shower room, so you can freshen up for a day out in style!

Outside

Many evenings can be enjoyed out on the decking and gravelled area, where a hot tub entices you with a relaxing soak amid the bubbles, and the crackling fire pit provides the perfect spot to unwind with a glass of wine or s’mores amidst the beautiful surroundings. The location of Hartsop is a walkers paradise, offering plenty of choice in routes and levels suitable for everyone, with the stunning Brothers Water on the doorstep.  Please note that both our lodges can be booked together, providing accommodation for up to eight people.

Pet Friendly

We welcome one well behaved pet at each lodge but please note that as this is a working farm we ask that dogs are kept on leads outside at all times.
